While they both belong to the London Borough of Brent, Cricklewood is also part of the London Borough of Barnet and the London Borough of Camden. Neasden, situated in the northwestern part of London, is connected to the center of the British capital by the Neasden Tube station, which runs on the Jubilee Line (Silver Line). Neasden is mostly famous for the remarkable BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir London, (also commonly known as the Neasden Temple), Britain’s first traditional Hindu temple and the world’s largest Hindu temple outside of India.
The “Mandir”, or Temple, is a remarkable construction made of Italian marble and Bulgarian Limestone ; other than the Temple itself, the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir houses a permanent exhibition called “Understanding Hinduism” and a cultural centre known as Haveli.
