Many people who move to Baldock do so because of its convenient commuter routes, especially to London. Property prices are not as expensive as some of the other Hertfordshire towns, which offsets travel costs for people who move house here. Baldock’s origins go back as far as the twelfth century, as a popular market town, but there was a settlement here in Roman times, possibly because of the location in the River Ivel valley. The Baldock Town Partnership is active in organising events, including a half marathon with a route through some of the attractive local country lanes, and an annual festival with a variety of events.
As with any house move to Baldock, it is always helpful to have a list of reliable local contacts for all those essential services, including a reliable man and van removal company. Being local to Hertfordshire, Van Man in London knows the Baldock area well and takes pride in offering a friendly, competitive removal service, using the surprisingly spacious Luton vans. We can also quote for packing services and are happy for you to keep costs down by helping with loading and unloading if you wish.
